“Kelly Gilbert attended Miami Montessori from 1986 to 1993. and attained an M.A. in Child Study and Education. An avid reader, music fan and traveler, Kelly credits much of her success in life to her Montessori education.I’ve always loved learning and actually grew up thinking school was fun, she says. Because Montessori students are able to choose what materials they work with, they are empowered from a young age to become the stewards of their own educational journey. With that freedom comes a sense of personal responsibility and self-discipline, an intrinsic motivation to persevere and problem-solve.”
